Welcome to Fraser Shipyards, M/V Mesabi Miner!

Jan 29, 2026

We’re proud to welcome the Mesabi Miner to winter lay-up at our shipyard for the very first time. While she’s a new face here, several of her fleet mates are familiar visitors and we’re honored to be a trusted shipyard year after year.

Our welders, pipefitters, trades, and yard crews know what it means to care for a vessel through a Great Lakes winter, and we’ll make sure the Mesabi Miner is well looked after.

It’s Go- Time!
