New crane

We’re proud to welcome our new Link-Belt RTC-80130 — delivered through a MARAD Small Shipyard Grant — to the yard!

This powerful addition directly supports our teams and reinforces MARAD’s mission to boost efficiency, competitiveness, and quality in U.S. ship construction, repair, and reconfiguration by funding capital improvements, modernizing equipment, and expanding workforce training. After delivery and training, the crane went straight into service supporting repair work on the Kaye E. Barker.

Thank you, MARAD, for recognizing the impact this equipment has on our yard and the broader maritime industrial base. Big shout out to our partners at General Equipment — Kris Akervick — for your guidance and support as our local Link-Belt distributor.
