A group of students from Lake Superior College toured Fraser Shipyards and Lake Assault Boats. The students from the welding camp were given “hands-on” opportunities to weld both pipe and aluminum.
In addition to the hands-on experience the program participants talked with Fraser and Lake Assault welders about the wide variety of career options and training opportunities available to those interested in welding. Thank you to the staff and students at LSC for taking the time to tour!
